Role Overview
The Senior Mechanical Engineer – Cooling Parts owns the design, coordination, and delivery of cooling systems and mechanical packages for mission-critical facilities, providing technical leadership across projects while driving fast-track execution and mentoring junior team members.
Key Responsibilities

Own end-to-end design and development of cooling system components and mechanical packages from concept to IFC and as-built stages.

Lead selection, sizing, and integration of complex cooling equipment such as chillers, CRAHs, CDUs, pumps, and heat rejection systems.

Ensure all designs comply with applicable codes and standards, driving resolution of complex compliance issues.

Lead coordination with electrical, structural, architectural, and special package teams across multiple projects.

Drive fast-track delivery with timely design updates, clarifications, and risk mitigation.

Provide senior technical input for constructability, commissioning, and handover.

Own responses to complex RFIs and provide senior support to site teams during construction.

Finalize and release mechanical design packages within assigned scope.

Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and intermediate engineers.
Required Skills and Experience
-
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.

10+ years of experience in mission-critical or industrial environments.

Deep expertise in critical cooling systems (CRAH/CRAC, chillers, liquid cooling, heat exchangers, pumps).

Advanced proficiency in 3D modeling tools such as AutoCAD and Revit.

Extensive experience with DCIM tools and complex interface coordination.

Advanced knowledge of redundancy concepts (N+1, 2N), resilience, and uptime requirements.

Prior experience mentoring or leading junior engineers.
