Terms and Conditions

These Terms govern your relationship with DC Forté as a candidate using our recruitment platform. They apply to the DC Forté candidate web portal, our WhatsApp-based recruitment service, and any recruitment, matching, or assessment services we provide to you. Please read them in full before creating an account.

01. Introduction
  • DC Forté is a specialist recruitment firm serving the global data centre industry. We connect professionals with organisations across data centre operations, design, engineering, and leadership.
  • These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the DC Forté recruitment platform, which includes our candidate web portal (“Portal”) and our WhatsApp-based recruitment service (“WhatsApp Service”), together referred to as the “Platform”.
  • By creating an account, sending us your CV, or otherwise engaging with the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
  • These Terms apply alongside our Privacy Policy, which forms part of your legal agreement with us.
02. Eligibility
  • To use the Platform, you must:
    • Be at least 18 years of age;
    • Be seeking employment or open to career opportunities in a professional capacity;
    • Have the legal right and authority to provide the personal and professional information you share with us;
    • Not be using the Platform in any jurisdiction where doing so is unlawful.
  • By using the Platform, you confirm that you meet all of these requirements.
03. Your Account
  • You can browse available roles on both the WhatsApp Service and the web Portal without creating an account. An account is only needed when you choose to apply for a role, or when you ask us to register you.
  • Accounts can be created through two routes:
    • Via WhatsApp. When you choose to apply or ask to register, we will request your CV. The message carrying that request includes links to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Sending your CV creates your account, builds your Candidate Profile, and records your agreement to both documents.
    • Via the web Portal. You can create an account directly by completing verification using either your phone number or your email address. Links to these Terms and our Privacy Policy are shown at the point of account creation.
  • You are responsible for keeping your contact details accurate and up to date.
  • Each candidate may hold only one account. If we identify more than one account belonging to you, we will contact you and ask which one you want to keep. The account you choose is retained along with your application history; the other is closed. We will not make that choice for you without asking.
  • You are responsible for activity taking place through your account. If you believe it has been accessed without your authorisation, contact us immediately at support@dc-forte.com.
04. Our Services
  • DC Forté provides the following services to registered candidates:
    • Job matching. We use AI-assisted tools together with recruiter expertise to identify roles aligned to your skills, experience, and preferences.
    • Application management. We facilitate the submission and tracking of your applications to hiring organisations.
    • Screening and assessment. We may arrange additional screening, which can include an AI-conducted interview or an assessment carried out by our assessment partners. See Section 08.
    • Communication and updates. We keep you informed of your application status through your preferred channel.
    • Post-placement engagement. After you join a new role, we may maintain optional contact to support your integration and career development.
  • DC Forté acts as a recruitment intermediary. We are not a party to any employment contract between you and a hiring organisation, and we do not guarantee any particular employment outcome.
05. Your Candidate Profile
  • Your Candidate Profile is the record we hold on your behalf. It may include your contact details, professional history, skills, qualifications, CV, preferences, and application history.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide. Submitting false, misleading, or materially incomplete information may result in suspension of your account.
  • You can view and update your profile at any time through the Portal. Significant profile changes may require re-verification.
  • If DC Forté already holds information about you — for example from a CV you previously shared with us, an application you made before this Platform existed, or a CV obtained from a job board, referral, or recruitment partner — we will tell you when you sign up, and you can review, update, or remove it at that point. Our Privacy Policy explains this in more detail.
06. Job Matching and Applications
  • We use a combination of automated matching and recruiter review to identify roles that may suit you. Roles are surfaced for your consideration — you are never entered into an application process without your knowledge or agreement.
  • When you indicate interest in a role or submit an application, you authorise DC Forté to share your Candidate Profile with the relevant hiring organisation. Where you have completed an assessment for that role, this may also include your written evaluation and the transcript of your responses — see Section 08. Hiring organisations receive your data as independent data controllers and process it under their own privacy policies.
  • Every application you submit is seen by a DC Forté recruiter. We do not use automated filtering to remove applicants from consideration before a person has reviewed them.
  • DC Forté does not make final hiring decisions. All decisions on offers and employment are made by the hiring organisation. We will communicate your application status as we receive updates.
07. AI-Assisted Services
  • DC Forté uses artificial intelligence to assist with candidate matching, CV analysis, communication, and assessment. These tools help us deliver a faster, more precise service across a specialised industry.
  • Where you apply for a role, our tools produce an evaluation comparing your CV against the role requirements. This produces both a score and a detailed written assessment, which is provided to a DC Forté recruiter. The recruiter reviews that assessment and decides whether your application progresses.
  • AI does not decide the outcome of your application. Our tools generate analysis and recommendations; a DC Forté recruiter makes the decision.
  • You can ask us to explain how AI has been used in relation to your profile or applications, and you can ask for a decision to be reviewed by a person. Contact us at support@dc-forte.com and we will respond within the timeframe required by the law that applies to you.
  • When you interact with our WhatsApp assistant or take an AI interview, you are told clearly that you are interacting with an automated system rather than a person.
08. Assessments and AI Interviews
  • Some roles include an assessment stage. This may be an interview conducted by our AI interviewer, or an assessment carried out by one of our assessment partners.
What happens during an AI interview
  • If you are invited to an AI interview, you will be told before the session begins exactly what it involves. This includes:
    • The session is recorded in both video and audio;
    • Your spoken responses are transcribed into text;
    • The session is supervised to maintain assessment integrity. Supervision is provided by IncProctor, a third-party proctoring service operated by InCruiter;
    • Your responses are analysed and a written evaluation is produced for the recruiter;
    • Your evaluation and the transcript of your responses may be shared with the hiring organisation for the role you applied to. Video and audio recordings are not shared unless you are told and agree;
    • A DC Forté recruiter, not the AI system, decides whether your application progresses.
  • Interview questions are limited to the technical and professional requirements of the role you have applied for.
Your consent, taken at the time
  • We ask for your consent to recording immediately before the session begins — not at sign-up. You will be shown what is captured and how long each item is kept, and you must actively agree before any recording starts.
Adjustments and alternative arrangements
  • If you are unable to take the assessment in its standard form — whether for accessibility reasons, technical constraints, or because you would prefer not to be recorded — contact us at support@dc-forte.com before your scheduled session. We will discuss alternative arrangements with you, which may include a screening conversation with a DC Forté recruiter. Raising this will not, in itself, affect the outcome of your application.
How long recordings are kept
  • Video and audio recordings of AI interviews are automatically deleted 90 days after the session. Your transcript and the written evaluation are kept with your application record. You can ask us to delete a recording sooner by contacting support@dc-forte.com.
09. Communication Channels
  • DC Forté communicates with candidates through two primary channels:
    • WhatsApp — our recommended channel for updates, questions, and managing your recruitment journey;
    • Web Portal — available at any time to view your profile, track applications, and manage your preferences.
  • We may also contact you by email for formal notifications such as account confirmation or material changes to these documents.
Service messages and marketing are different
  • We distinguish between two kinds of message:
    • Service messages relate to applications you have made — status updates, interview scheduling, document requests, and outcomes. These are part of the service you have asked us to provide.
    • Marketing messages tell you about new roles and opportunities you have not engaged with. These are optional and require your consent. You are asked once, at sign-up, and the answer is no unless you say yes.
  • You can change your preferences at any time in the Portal, including switching channel or turning marketing off. Turning marketing off does not affect service messages about your live applications.
10. WhatsApp Messaging
  • Our WhatsApp Service is delivered through DC Forté's dedicated WhatsApp assistant, not a personal employee number. You can use it to check your application status, ask questions, update preferences, or tell us about your availability.
  • WhatsApp messages are delivered over Meta's infrastructure. While DC Forté takes appropriate care in message handling, we are not responsible for the security, availability, or reliability of the WhatsApp platform itself.
  • You can stop WhatsApp messages at any time by replying STOP, or by updating your preferences in the Portal. Replying STOP suppresses all WhatsApp messages from DC Forté, including application updates. Your web Portal remains fully accessible and is unaffected.
  • If you would prefer to receive application updates by email instead, change your channel preference in the Portal rather than replying STOP.
11. Acceptable Use
  • When using the Platform, you agree not to:
    • Provide false, misleading, or fabricated professional information;
    • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity or qualifications;
    • Create or maintain more than one account;
    • Use the Platform for purposes other than genuine career exploration or job seeking;
    • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform, its infrastructure, or other user accounts;
    • Send abusive, threatening, or harassing communications;
    • Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Platform without our written permission;
    • Attempt to circumvent, manipulate, or misrepresent yourself during an assessment or AI interview;
    • Share your login credentials with any third party.
  • DC Forté may suspend or terminate your account for any breach of these rules, without prior notice where the breach is serious or repeated.
12. Liability
  • DC Forté provides the Platform on a best-efforts basis. We do not guarantee that it will be available at all times, free from errors, or suited to every candidate's needs.
  • We are not liable for: employment decisions made by hiring organisations; the outcome of any application or assessment; loss of income or career opportunity; or any indirect, consequential, or incidental loss arising from your use of the Platform.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you in connection with the Platform shall not exceed [CAP TO BE CONFIRMED].
  • Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Termination and Deletion
  • You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time, through the Portal or by contacting support@dc-forte.com. We will complete deletion within 30 days of confirming your request.
  • DC Forté may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, provide materially false information, or where we are required to do so by law.
  • Deletion is not always total, and we will tell you exactly what has happened. Three things may remain:
    • A suppression record. We keep your email address and phone number — and nothing else — so that your CV is not added to our database again if we come across it later through a job board, referral, or partner. Without this we cannot honour your request going forward. You can ask us to remove these too, but we will then be unable to prevent your details re-entering our database.
    • Records we are legally required to keep. Where a legal or regulatory obligation applies, we will tell you which records these are and how long they are held.
    • Data already shared with a hiring organisation. If your profile was sent to an employer as part of an application, we cannot remove it from their systems. You would need to contact them directly, and we can tell you which organisations received your details.
  • Our Privacy Policy explains this in full.
14. Changes to These Terms
  • We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our services, applicable law, or the technology we use.
  • Where changes are material, we will notify you in advance via WhatsApp or email. The version number and date at the top of this page always reflect the current version.
  • Your continued use of the Platform after notification constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree, you can ask us to delete your account before they take effect.
15. Governing Law
  • These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
  • Any dispute shall first be referred to DC Forté for informal resolution. If it cannot be resolved informally, it shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
  • Nothing in this section removes any right you have to bring a claim, or to complain to a regulator, under the law of the country where you live.
