About the Role 

We are seeking an experienced AI Manager to join our team, responsible for leading the development and implementation of AI-driven solutions that support business objectives. The role involves managing AI projects, guiding technical teams, defining AI strategy, and ensuring the successful delivery of scalable and impactful AI initiatives. The ideal candidate will combine strong leadership skills with expertise in AI technologies to drive innovation and business value.

Key Responsibilities  

• Lead and manage a team of AI/ML engineers, setting technical direction and mentoring
  talent across Generative AI, NLP, and ML domains within a data centre technology
  context

• Own the end-to-end AI product lifecycle — from ideation and architecture to deployment
  and continuous improvement — across data centre design, build, and operations use
  cases

• Identify and drive AI opportunities specific to data centre environments, including
  predictive maintenance, power and cooling optimisation, infrastructure anomaly
  detection, and automated reporting

• Partner with business and operations stakeholders to define AI use cases, translate
  them into scalable solutions, and ensure measurable impact on data centre performance

• Drive adoption of LLM-based applications, overseeing prompt engineering strategies,
  model integration, and performance benchmarking

• Oversee cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred) for AI services, ensuring cost efficiency,
  security compliance, and scalability across data centre workloads

Required Skills and Experience 

• 7-10 years of experience in AI/ML, data science, or software engineering, with at least 5 years in a team lead or managerial capacity 

• Proven track record of delivering end-to-end AI/ML solutions in production
  environments, preferably within data centre, infrastructure, or industrial sectors

• Deep expertise in Generative AI, LLMs, NLP, and deep learning with hands-on
  experience in prompt engineering and model deployment

• Strong Python skills and familiarity with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.)
  Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure AI ecosystem (Azure OpenAI,
  Cognitive Services, ML Studio)

•  Ability to balance technical depth with strategic vision in a complex, high-growth organisation
