AI Delivery Manager

This role runs the Generative AI programme from end to end. The brief is straightforward: build one sovereign platform across the full data centre lifecycle, from Site Fit through Commissioning, and make sure it gets reused on every CTS project that follows. The platform, the models, the data, and the IP belong to CTS permanently.

What you will do

  • Set and defend the technical strategy across all 8 phases, including to the CEO when it matters.
  • Build the leadership team, one Programme Manager and three Senior Engineering Managers, each owning a discipline cluster.
  • Manage the build budget and hold the team to an 18–24 month delivery window.
  • Run the stage-gate process and sign off on PoC exits at the end of every phase.
  • Keep CTS data on CTS infrastructure, open-weight models, CTS-owned hardware, IP created from day one.
  • Represent the programme externally with partners (Markytics, Neurofiq, IIT Bombay), suppliers, and regulators.

Must have

  • 12+ years in engineering, with at least 5 spent leading multi-team organisations shipping production AI or large-scale software.
  • You have taken a multi-phase platform from zero to live in a regulated industry — construction, energy, defence, or life sciences.
  • Technical credibility in at least two of: applied ML/LLMs, computational design, computer vision, robotics, BIM/AEC software.
  • You have hired people, developed them, and held them accountable.
  • You can walk a CEO through a one-page deck and come out with a decision.
  • Confident with sovereign, on-prem infrastructure, GPU operations, open-weight models, no cloud lock-in.

Nice to have

  • AEC, construction, or data centre background.
  • Familiarity with the Indian DPDP Act, EU AI Act, or similar data sovereignty frameworks.
  • Experience managing teams across European and Indian offices.
