Role Overview The Junior IT Support Analyst provides first-line IT support to approximately 200 back-office staff based in the Mumbai office, including the teams working with the BIM↔AI pipeline, working under the guidance of senior IT support staff and the ICT Delivery Manager. The role helps ensure every user has working hardware, software, and access to CTS systems, supporting day-to-day operations. This is a hands-on, user-facing role that also supports user onboarding, asset management, and basic network upkeep for the Mumbai site.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line helpdesk support across hardware, software, connectivity, and access-related issues for Mumbai-based users.
- Set up and configure new workstations, including laptops, monitors, peripherals, Microsoft 365 accounts, and VPN access.
- Support the IT onboarding process for new joiners, helping ensure accounts, equipment, software, and basic security setup are ready from day one.
- Support maintenance of the Mumbai IT asset register, tracking devices through their lifecycle.
- Support the BIM↔AI team with day-to-day IT needs, including Revit licensing, Speckle connectivity, and remote access to Porto.
- Assist with maintaining the Mumbai office network, including Wi-Fi, switches, cabling, and VPN client management.
- Troubleshoot Windows endpoint issues across hardware, drivers, Microsoft 365, and VPN clients.
- Escalate issues requiring server-level or network-level investigation to the ICT Delivery Manager.
- Maintain clear documentation of tickets, resolutions, and standard IT processes.
- Follow basic security and data protection practices across endpoints and user accounts.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of IT support experience in an office environment.
- Strong Windows endpoint troubleshooting skills, including hardware, drivers, Microsoft 365, and VPN clients.
- Experience managing user accounts in Azure AD or Microsoft 365.
- Working knowledge of office networking fundamentals, including DHCP, DNS, Wi-Fi, and VPN.
- Experience with IT asset management and user onboarding processes.
- Customer-service mindset, with the ability to support non-technical staff clearly and patiently.
- Fluent English, as the IT team communicates with Porto and the SVP – ICT in English; working proficiency in Hindi for day-to-day support of Mumbai staff.
- Exposure to Revit or other engineering / design software is an advantage.
- ITIL Foundation or equivalent helpdesk framework experience is a plus.
