About the Role
Based in Nyon, this role calls for a Financial Controller who blends deep financial discipline with modern strategic insight. You will be the organisation’s financial steward, ensuring accuracy, strengthening controls, and supporting decisions that drive long-term, sustainable growth. This position demands someone who understands the fundamentals of sound accounting while confidently navigating the evolving landscape of global finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all financial accounting, reporting, and compliance activities.
- Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Maintain internal controls, risk management processes, and statutory compliance aligned with Swiss regulations
- Lead annual budgeting cycles and rolling forecasts.
- Analyse financial performance, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions.
- Support leadership with insights that shape long-term business strategy.
- Manage accounts payable/receivable, treasury, and cash-flow planning.
- Oversee payroll coordination with external partners.
- Optimise financial processes and systems for accuracy and efficiency.
- Work closely with operations, HR, project teams, and senior management to support decision-making.
- Provide project-level financial oversight, cost tracking, and margin analysis.
- Liaise with external auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure compliance with Swiss GAAP, IFRS (if applicable), and industry-specific standards.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- Recognised accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, CA, or Swiss equivalent).
- 10–15+ years of progressive financial management experience.
- Strong understanding of Swiss financial regulations, tax structures, and statutory reporting.
- Experience in technology, engineering, or data centre industries is an advantage.
- Proficiency in financial systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to balance precision with strategic thought — the mark of a seasoned controller.
