About the Role 

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Mechanical Engineer (Cooling Parts) to join our team. This role is key in designing, coordinating, and delivering high-performance, reliable, and energy-efficient cooling systems for mission-critical data center facilities.

Key Responsibilities  

• Design and develop cooling system components and mechanical packages from concept to IFC and as-built stages.
• Support selection, sizing, and integration of cooling equipment such as chillers, CRAHs, CDUs, pumps, and heat rejection systems. 
• Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and client technical requirements.
• Coordinate closely with electrical, structural, architectural, and special package teams.
• Support fast-track delivery with timely design updates and clarifications.
• Provide technical input for constructability, commissioning, and handover.
• Respond to RFIs and support site teams during construction.
• Optimize solutions for energy efficiency, reliability, and maintainability
  - Approve and release mechanical design packages within the assigned scope.
  - Validate equipment selections and system configurations.
  - Identify and escalate technical risks and design deviations.
  - Define technical solutions for cooling-related challenges.
  - Provide recommendations to project and design management. 

Required Skills and Experience 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Relevant certifications in HVAC, thermal systems, or data center coolingareanadvantage. 
• Functional Knowledge and Skills 
• Strong knowledge of critical cooling systems (CRAH/CRAC, chillers, liquidcooling, heat exchangers, pumps).
  - Understanding of high-density and liquid-cooled data center environments.
  - Proficiency in 3D modeling tools such as AutoCAD and Revit.
  - Experience with DCIM tools and interface coordination. 
  - Knowledge of redundancy concepts (N+1, 2N), resilience, and uptimerequirements. 
• Minimum 3 years of experience in mission-critical or industrial environments.
• Experience with data centers, offshore, marine, or modular systems ispreferred. 
• Proven experience working in multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Experience supporting construction and commissioning phases.
• Familiarity with international standards and best practices. 
• Minimum 3 years in mission-critical environments. 
• Experience from data centers, oil & gas modules, or marine/offshorepower.
• Multidisciplinary coordination experience. 
• Hands-on involvement in technical design and execution.
• Exposure to high-reliability systems and environments.
