About the Role
In Dublin’s fast-moving project landscape, we are looking for a Senior Planner who brings structure, foresight, and a steady hand. This role calls for someone who honours the discipline of traditional project planning while embracing the precision of modern tools. You will guide complex programmes using Primavera P6, ensuring every timeline, dependency, and milestone stands strong.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, update, and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Build work breakdown structures (WBS) aligned with project scope and contractual requirements.
- Track progress, identify variances, and recommend schedule recovery actions.
- Work closely with project managers, engineering teams, commercial teams, and site leadership.
- Support tendering and proposal activities with schedule inputs and planning expertise.
- Facilitate planning meetings, ensuring alignment across stakeholders.
- Prepare weekly and monthly schedule reports, dashboards, and progress summaries.
- Maintain accurate documentation of schedule changes, delays, and critical paths.
- Support risk analysis and scenario modelling to aid decision-making.
- Ensure planning processes and methodologies follow company and industry standards.
- Monitor resource allocation, productivity rates, and dependencies impacting delivery.
- Provide early warnings and strategic insights to keep projects on track.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
- 7–12+ years’ experience in planning roles for large-scale construction or data centre projects.
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 (mandatory).
- Strong understanding of EPC workflows, project controls, and scheduling best practices.
- Experience working with multinational or fast-paced technical projects.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
