About the Role The Quantity Surveyor - Electrical Expert will oversee all cost and commercial management activities related to electrical systems, including high-voltage infrastructure, power distribution, and data center-grade MEP installations. This role requires a technically astute professional capable of bridging the gap between engineering design and financial discipline, ensuring that every electrical scope is executed with efficiency, accuracy, and cost integrity. The selected candidate will participate in a training and integration program in Europe, gaining exposure to CTS Group's global cost management systems, electrical standards, and project control frameworks. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and project budgets for electrical and MEP systems. Review and assess vendor and subcontractor quotations for technical accuracy and commercial value. Monitor and manage cost control, forecasting, and reporting across all project phases. Conduct value engineering to identify opportunities for cost optimization and energy efficiency. Support tendering, contract negotiation, and variation management for electrical packages. Coordinate closely with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure accurate cost tracking. Analyze electrical design drawings and specifications to validate scope and quantities. Ensure adherence to CTS Group's international project controls and reporting standards. Contribute to claims evaluation, audit preparation, and final account settlement.

Required Skills and Experience 10-15 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor specializing in electrical or MEP systems. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Quantity Surveying. Proven track record in data center, industrial, or infrastructure projects involving high-voltage systems. Strong knowledge of power distribution, earthing, UPS systems, lighting, and cabling installations. Proficiency in costing software, AutoCAD, MS Excel, and project management tools. Familiarity with international contract standards (FIDIC preferred). Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
