Role Overview The Civil & Structural Engineer owns the end-to-end design of foundations, structural systems, and site civil works for data centre and mission-critical facilities — from concept through IFC to as-built. The role independently performs structural calculations and leads multidisciplinary coordination.

The position supports fast-track delivery at CTS's São Paulo engineering hub, working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities Own the design of foundations, structural steel/concrete frames, site works, and drainage systems, from concept to IFC and as-built stages. Perform structural calculations, load assessments, and geotechnical interface coordination. Develop technical drawings, structural schedules, specifications, and engineering documentation. Lead multidisciplinary coordination and clash detection (civil/structural vs. mechanical and electrical routing) in Navisworks. Respond to RFIs, review submittals, and approve/release design packages within the assigned scope. Coordinate with contractors and material suppliers on structural specifications and delivery. Support construction-phase activities, including site queries and inspections. Ensure compliance with applicable Brazilian structural and geotechnical standards (ABNT NBR). Mentor junior engineers and review their design deliverables.

Required Skills and Experience Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; Master's an advantage. 5–10 years of experience in civil/structural design, including exposure to mission-critical/data-centre or industrial projects. Strong knowledge of structural design standards and Brazilian regulations (ABNT NBR 6118, NBR 8800, NBR 6122). Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit Structure, Civil 3D, and Navisworks; working knowledge of structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, TQS, Eberick). Working knowledge of foundation design, drainage, and site-development coordination. Advanced or fluent English for collaboration with international teams. Strong problem-solving, coordination, and stakeholder-management skills.

What We Offer Competitive compensation package with performance-based incentives. Meal vouchers and/or food vouchers. Life insurance. Direct collaboration with international colleagues and exposure to high-value global projects. Career path within CTS Group's global projects and international teams.
