Role Overview The Junior BIM Civil Engineer supports the development of civil and structural BIM/Revit models for data centre and mission-critical facilities. Working under the supervision of senior BIM and civil engineers, the role produces model content, layouts, and schedules to established standards.

This is an opportunity to build specialist expertise in civil BIM coordination within a fast-track project environment, alongside experienced engineers at CTS's São Paulo engineering hub.

Key Responsibilities Support development and maintenance of civil/structural BIM/Revit models (foundations, structural steel/concrete, site works) for data centre projects, under the guidance of senior BIM and civil engineers. Produce civil and structural layouts, grading, and reinforcement/structural schedules in Revit Structure to established modelling standards. Assist with clash detection and interdisciplinary coordination using Navisworks, flagging conflicts between civil/structural and other disciplines. Support model audits and quality checks, verifying level of detail (LOD), naming conventions, and compliance with the project BIM Execution Plan (BEP). Prepare preliminary bills of quantities (BOQ), material take-offs, and structural schedules from the civil model. Assist with RFIs, technical submittals, and general engineering documentation. Support coordination meetings by preparing model views and clash reports under supervision. Assist with site queries and construction support as required.

Required Skills and Experience Bachelor's degree or technical diploma in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. 2–5 years of experience in BIM/Revit environments, with some exposure to civil or structural design coordination. Working proficiency in Autodesk Revit Structure/Civil 3D; exposure to Navisworks for clash detection. Basic familiarity with civil/structural design principles (foundations, earthworks, drainage, structural steel/concrete). Awareness of BIM standards such as ISO 19650 and BIM Execution Plans (BEP). Advanced or fluent English for collaboration with international teams. Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
