Role Overview
The Junior Civil Engineer supports the design, coordination, and delivery of civil and structural engineering systems for mission-critical data center projects, working under the guidance of senior engineers.
Key Responsibilities

Support civil and structural engineering designs from feasibility through detailed design and IFC documentation.

Assist in ensuring civil solutions support structural loads for critical equipment, cooling systems, and power infrastructure.

Help produce drawings, specifications, and technical documentation aligned with CTS and Eurocode standards.

Coordinate with MEP, architectural, and specialist disciplines under supervision.

Work with BIM Coordinators to support clash-free civil and structural models.

Assist in reviewing and responding to RFIs and site queries.

Support licensing applications, permits, and authority submissions.

Participate in site inspections and provide entry-level construction support.

Support QA/QC of civil and structural drawings and as-built documentation.
Required Skills and Experience

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.

3–5 years of experience in critical infrastructure, data center, or high-complexity industrial projects.

Working proficiency in structural calculation and civil modelling tools (e.g. SAP2000, ETABS, AutoCAD, Revit).

Basic knowledge of BIM workflows and Eurocode standards.

Registration with the Ordem dos Engenheiros (or in progress) is an advantage.

Intermediate or advanced English required.
