Our proven track record and strong partnerships have established CTS as a trusted industry leader delivering large-scale, complex data centre facilities with speed, efficiency, and excellence.
The São Paulo office will be CTS's primary engineering and delivery hub for Latin America, supporting global data centre projects and digital transformation initiatives in collaboration with teams across Europe. Hired professionals will have direct exposure to international mission-critical projects and development opportunities within a high-performance global environment.
About the Role
As a BIM/Revit Engineer, you will be responsible for end-to-end BIM implementation, Revit model development, and coordination of multidisciplinary design models for hyperscale and colocation mission-critical data center projects.
You will develop, manage, and audit federated BIM/Revit models across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines, ensuring accuracy, constructability, and compliance with project standards. You will support digital workflows, clash detection, and design coordination to enable seamless collaboration between design, engineering, and construction teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, manage, and maintain detailed Revit models for large-scale data center projects across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
- Implement and adhere to BIM standards and protocols (including ISO 19650) to ensure consistency, quality, and traceability across all project models and documentation.
- Set up, manage, and coordinate models in Autodesk Revit and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), enabling efficient collaboration, version control, and data exchange.
- Perform clash detection and interdisciplinary coordination using tools such as Navisworks and ACC, proactively resolving issues and supporting constructible design solutions.
- Conduct regular model audits and quality checks to verify model integrity, level of detail (LOD), naming standards, and compliance with project BIM Execution Plans (BEP).
- Prepare and extract accurate drawings, schedules, quantities, and model-based deliverables, including general arrangements, sections, details, and coordinated layouts.
- Support the development and maintenance of BIM content, families, templates, and libraries tailored to data center design requirements and CTS standards.
- Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to align Revit models with design intent, technical specifications, and construction methodologies.
- Provide day-to-day support to project teams on BIM/Revit workflows, troubleshooting model issues, and recommending improvements to digital design processes.
- Ensure that all BIM outputs align with applicable codes, regulations, client requirements, and internal quality management systems.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of BIM processes by identifying opportunities for automation, better coordination practices, and standardised reusable model components.
Technical Authorities & Responsibilities
- Take technical ownership of BIM/Revit model interfaces between architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines, ensuring coordinated, clash-free, and constructible design outputs.
- Ensure technical accuracy and discipline coordination within federated BIM models to support decision-making for mission-critical data center systems.
- Support design reviews, model coordination meetings, and technical workshops by preparing and presenting relevant model views, clash reports, and design options.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Education & Experience
- Technical diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical), Architecture, or a related discipline.
- 2 to 10 years of experience in BIM and Revit-based design environments, ideally on large-scale industrial, data center, or critical infrastructure projects.
- Solid understanding of building services coordination, data center layouts, and the interaction between architectural, structural, and MEP systems.
Functional Knowledge & Skills
- Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit for 3D modelling, documentation, and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Experience with Navisworks (or similar tools) for clash detection, coordination review, and federated model management.
- Hands-on experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or equivalent CDE platforms for model sharing, version control, and collaborative workflows.
- Knowledge of BIM standards and frameworks, such as ISO 19650, and experience working in accordance with BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and project-specific BIM protocols.
- Understanding of critical infrastructure facility design principles, particularly for data centers, including spatial planning for power, cooling, and IT infrastructure.
- Ability to interpret and work from engineering drawings, specifications, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Strong interface management capabilities, coordinating input from multiple design disciplines and managing dependencies within complex models.
Minimum Experience Requirements
- Intermediate Level: 2–5 years of experience in BIM/Revit model development, coordination, and documentation on building or industrial projects.
- Senior Level: 5–10 years of experience in BIM management, multi-project coordination, and oversight of large, complex Revit models.
- Experience in data centers, industrial facilities, large commercial buildings, or other critical infrastructure environments is highly advantageous.
- Demonstrated experience in multidisciplinary coordination, including active participation in design coordination meetings and clash resolution.
- Proven hands-on involvement in both design development and detailed design/IFC documentation stages.
- Exposure to high-reliability systems and environments, where accuracy, uptime, and technical robustness are critical.
- Advanced or fluent English required for collaboration with international teams.
Soft Skills
- High attention to detail and strong commitment to model and documentation quality.
- Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with international and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work across global time zones and manage deliverables in a fast-paced, schedule-driven project environment.
- Clear and structured communicator, able to present technical information in a concise and understandable way to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Structured, reliable working style with strong organisational and time-management skills.
What We Offer
- Competitive salary package aligned with your professional experience.
- Health Insurance.
- Opportunity for professional growth and development.
- Continuous training and learning opportunities.
- A dynamic, professional, and collaborative work environment in Mumbai, with a diverse and inclusive team that values innovation and excellence.
